Lima, the capital city of Peru, is a city that is rich in history and culture. One of the best ways to explore the city is through a walking tour. Each neighborhood has its own unique character and charm, and the walking tour allows you to experience them all. From the modern buildings of Miraflores to the colonial architecture of the Historic Center, this tour will give you a taste of everything that Lima has to offer.

Miraflores is a modern and trendy neighborhood located along the coast of Lima. It’s known for its beautiful parks, upscale shopping centers, and stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. The walking tour of Miraflores will take you along the Malecón, a scenic boardwalk that runs along the shimmering sea. Lima is a collection of towns, and nearby «Huaca Pucllana» is an archaeological site located in Miraflores district. It was built by the ancient Lima ancient civilization around 100 AD (nearly contemporary with the emerged of the Mayans in Mexico in 200 B.C.) and served as a ceremonial and administrative center for over 700 years. One of the most striking features of Huaca Pucllana is its main building, which stands at 85 feet tall and is made up of seven-staggered platforms. The construction of the site involved the use of millions of adobe (mud bricks), which were shaped by hand and then dried in the sun. It is surrounded by smaller structures and courtyards and it covers an area of approximately 6 hectares. They were engaged in agriculture, livestock, fishing and shellfish harvest. Its pottery was used for various domestic and religious uses.

The second place to visit will be the district of San Isidro, it is one of the most exclusive districts in Lima, renowned for its beautiful parks and gardens. One of the most popular parks in the district is El Olivar Park, it is a sprawling green space that covers over 70 acre and features over 1,500 olive trees that date back to the colonial era. The park is a peaceful oasis in the midst of the bustling city and is perfect for a relaxing stroll or picnic.  Also it is home many embassies and international organizations, making it a hub for business and diplomacy.

Afterwards you will be taken to the Historic Center of Lima, you will visit the Museo de Arte (Art Museum), Palacio de Justicia (Courthouse), Italian Art Museum, French Palace, San Martin Square, Jirón de la Union Street, Main Square, City Hall, The Cathedral, Archbishop’s Palace, Government Palace formerly known as “Pizarro´s Palace”.
